Training During
the Pandemic Temporary Placement of Housement During the Pandemic
COVID-19 (Till 31October 2020)
Apart from providing health services, public
healthcare facilities are also training grounds
for all categories of health personnel. While
a pandemic of this magnitude may impact /
healthcare delivery, care is taken to ensure
training of medical personnel is not affected. This
is crucial as a long-term care delivery strategy. /
For this, the House Officer (HO) training guideline
was created. It states that HOs from COVID-19
hospitals need to be placed in other training
hospitals to ensure the continuity of training.
This movement was coordinated by the human
resource team.
